Mt. Sunapee State Park Beach

The 4,085 acre lake at Mt.Sunapee State Park Beach is an ideal spot for family and group outings - enjoy fishing, boating, swimming and picnicking. The beach has a store, canoe and kayak rentals, a playground, and a new bathhouse. A boat launch is available with some restrictions. Pets are not allowed on the beach.

The park is open weekends only starting Memorial Day weekend (May 24 - 26), then full-time, 9:30am - 7:30pm, from June 21 through September 1, 2008, weather permitting. Lifeguards are on duty daily from June 21 through September 1.

The gate remains open for access through fall, weather permitting. Bathrooms remain open through September 1, 2008.

Admission is $4 for adults; $2 for children ages 6-11; children ages 5 and under and NH residents age 65 and over are admitted free.
