Hampton Beach State Park Title

Hampton Beach gets five stars for water quality in the Natural Resources Defense Council's new report, "Testing the Waters: A Guide to Water Quality at Vacation Beaches."

Hampton Beach State Park provides year-round recreation, with Atlantic ocean-front facilities situated along miles of sandy beach. The Seashell complex includes a band shell amphitheater, public information services, comfort station, and first aid. Activities in the park include swimming, fishing, picnicking, and RV camping with full hook-ups in the campground.

Operation Schedule:

Bathrooms:
The Ross Avenue bathroom is open year-round, from 8am-10pm, weather permitting.
The Seashell bathroom is open April 17 through October 12, 2009, from 8am-11pm, weather permitting.
Day-Use:
Open daily May 22 through September 13, 2009, from 10am-8pm, weather permitting.
Camping:
Pre-season first-come/first-served camping with limited staffing and facilities from April 24 - May 21; reserved camping with full staffing and facilities from May 22 through October 12; post-season first-come/first-served camping with limited facilities from October 13 through October 25, 2009.

Due to nesting of the
Endangered Piping Plovers,
the handicapped accessible ramp at the State Park is unavailable. There is an accessible ramp available at the Seashell Complex.

Are pets allowed at Hampton Beach State Park?
Pets are not permitted in the park or at the beach.
Pets are not permitted in the RV campground from April 1st through September 15th.
