The primitive campground at Coleman State Park offers 24 campsites. Self-service/self-pay camping is available starting May 18, 2007, weather permitting. Reserved camping with full staffing and facilities is available starting June 8 and closing on October 8, 2007. Reservations for campsites may be made by calling the Reservation Office, Monday through Friday, from January through the end of the season.

Many of the sites can accommodate most camping equipment including self-contained recreational vehicles with a maximum length of 35 feet; hook-ups are not available. Flush toilets, coin-operated showers, along with pit toilets, a playground, and a dump station are available.
