Day-Use Reservations

Make a reservation online, today!
NH State Parks now offers reservations at most day-use locations. We strongly recommend booking your trip in advance as parks can reach capacity in the morning hours, especially on weekends and holidays. A limited number of walk-in spaces are available at each park. Visitors who do not make a reservation will be admitted on a first come/first-serve basis.

Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance of the current date.
When searching for reservation availability outside of the 30 day window an "X" or "A" will show in the availability grid indicating tickets will not be able to be purchased yet.

Reservation FAQs

How do I make/change a reservation?

  • Online: select park/loaction from dropdown above.
  • Call: 1-877-647-2757
  • There is a $1 dollar transaction fee that is non-refundable
  • Changes to reservations can only be done by phone.

How do I cancel a reservation?

Cancelations must be made by 9 a.m. of the day of your visit to receive a refund. You can cancel your reservation on your own when you are logged into your account. Click on the “My Reservations & Account” tab. There is a section under “Reservations” labeled “Current Reservations.” Click on that link and it will bring you to all of the reservations that you have booked that are still upcoming. Select the reservation you would like to cancel and indicate you want to cancel that reservation. If you cancel before 9 a.m., you will receive a refund of the admission fee. A $1 nonrefundable transaction fee will not be credited back to you. Your spot will now be able to be booked by other people.

What if I have a Parks Plate or Season Pass?

Visitors with pre-paid or discounted access to NH State Parks are encouraged to make online reservations as well. When making a reservation you can indicate that you are a pass/parks plate holder on your order details page and you will not be charged the day-use/parking fee. However, there will still be a $1 transaction fee for using the online reservation system.

What if I'm a NH Senior (65 and over)?

Indicate that you are a senior on your order details page and you will not be charged the day-use/parking fee. However there is a $1 transaction fee for using the online reservation system.

To receive your discount at our per person fee locations, simply enter the number of NH Senior Citizens in the vehicle/occupant information section of the order details page to receive your applicable discount.

To receive your discount at our per vehicle locations (Hampton Beach State Park (South), Livermore Falls, Monadnock State Park, and Wallis Sands State Park), check the NH Senior Citizens box in the primary occupant profile section of the order details page to receive your applicable discount.

If you choose not to purchase a day use pass or parking pass reservation, we will be setting aside a limited number of parking spaces for seniors based upon historical use. This does not guarantee space will be available when you arrive at the park.

Can I still use Metered Parking (Seacoast)?

Metered Parking is also available at our other seacoast parks that do not have Advanced Day-Use Reservations. Metered lots will require payment upon entering – reservations not permitted.

How far ahead should I book?

Guests can purchase day-use reservation tickets up until 5pm including once they arrive at the park. Plan ahead in the event the parking areas reach capacity. Cancellations can be refunded up to 9 a.m. the day of visit. Reservations can be booked up to 30 days in advance of the current date.
