Update – October 27, 2009
The project team has been busy laying out how this redevelopment will take place over the next two years. A project of this magnitude has many details to finalize before the construction ever begins - from deciding the exact layout of space in a building, to signage throughout the park, and most importantly, what are all the factors that affect the actual construction and timing.
Administrative Service’s Bureau of Public Works Design and Construction has decided to cancel the current Request for Proposals of the project in order to increase the scope of work. The original request did not include the South Beach Complex; although funding is still uncertain on this part of the project, it will be beneficial to have it included. The new Request for Qualifications and Proposals will be issued shortly on the Bureau's website at http://admin.state.nh.us/purchasing/publicworks/PWcurrentrequests.asp.
We will update again when we know more about the search for the Construction Manager position.
