Pavilions and Group Use AreasNew Hampshire State Parks are the crown jewels of the state and are the perfect place to have a wedding, reunion, group outing, or any other sort of event. Listed below are the state parks that can accommodate large groups. To make a reservation, please call the number listed.
Bear Brook State Park PavilionsBear Brook State Park - 157 Deerfield Road, Allenstown, NH 03275; This scenic park includes lots of trails, hiking, fishing, and boating. The two large pavilions have ample grassy areas, with Catamount Pond as a backdrop. Great for a wedding, corporate event, family reunion, or any get-together. Amenities include: biking, boat rentals, camping, fishing, flush toilets, hiking, horseback riding trails, picnicking, a playground, showers, and swimming. Beaver Brook Falls Group Use AreaBeaver Brook Falls Wayside - Route 145, Colebrook, NH 03576; 603-538-6707 A gorgeous waterfall sets the background for many photo opportunities and a beautiful setting for a wedding or corporate event. A picnic area with a small covered pavilion adds a nice spot to get out of the rain or heat. Trails leading directly to the base of the waterfall begin at the picnic area. Hiking and picnicking are just a couple of the wonderful things you can do here. Pets are allowed and pit toilets are available. Call for pricing and capacity information.
Ellacoya State Park PavilionEllacoya State Park - Route 11, Scenic Drive, Gilford, NH 03246; 603-293-7821, sandy.heisler@dred.state.nh.usLake Winnipesaukee serves as a beautiful background for this park’s large field and pavilion. Sunsets are gorgeous over the lake, and a beach setting is also available with comfort facilities. Amenities include flush toilets, picnicking, showers, and swimming. Hampton Beach State Park PavilionHampton Beach State Park - South Beach area - Route 1A, Hampton, NH 03842; 603-926-3784 Waterfront access to the Atlantic Ocean, with an ample stretch of beach. The boardwalk has plenty of shops and fun activities, including a concert venue. Amenities include fishing, flush toilets, picnicking, and swimming. This location is also in the process of getting a makeover. Pavilion - Capacity: 250; Fee: $1,250.00.

Jericho Mountain State Park Group Use AreaJericho Mountain State Park - Jericho Lake Road, Berlin, NH 03570; 603-466-3860 Known for its trail riding opportunities, this park has amazing views from a number of scenic outlooks. The park also has a wonderful sandy beach on Jericho Lake, where park guests can enjoy swimming, fishing, canoeing, or picnicking, with a small grassy area set back from the water. Kingston State Park Group Use AreaKingston State Park - 124 Main Street, Kingston, NH 03848; 603-642-6571 The park is 44 acres in size, and includes fireplaces, picnic areas, a playground, softball field, and three game areas for horseshoes and volleyball. Two bathhouses with dressing rooms and flush toilets are available. Reservations are accepted for business parties, wedding receptions, kids groups, family functions, and other general gatherings. Lake Francis State Park Group Use AreaLake Francis State Park - 439 River Road, Pittsburg, NH 03592; 603-538-6965 With camping on-site and plenty of fish in the lake, this is a great place for a weekend of fun. The park includes a small pavilion with a waterfront view and a lawn perfect for your small event or reception. Monadnock State Park Group Use AreaMonadnock State Park - Route 124, Jaffrey, NH 03452; 603-532-8862 Known for being one of the most climbed mountains in the world, this park offers a unique experience for any gathering. The park has a pavilion that is perfect for small groups. Amenities include camping, flush toilets, hiking, picnicking, and showers. There are no facilities on the mountain. Moose Brook State Park Group Use AreaMoose Brook State Park - Route 2, Jimtown Road, Gorham, NH 03581; 603-466-3860 A quiet pond set away from anything else offers the perfect background for any kind of ceremony, picnic, or corporate event. There is plenty of room for tents, games, or tables and chairs in the large field that is next to the pond. Odiorne Point State Park Group Use AreaOdiorne Point State Park - Route 1A, Rye, NH 03870; 603-436-7406 A separate picnic area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean is an ideal spot for family reunions, class picnics, weddings, and office outings. Other activities in the park include boating, fishing, hiking, biking, nature walks, and cross country skiing, which can all be incorporated into your event. Also found in the park are picnic tables, a huge playground, a boat launch, restrooms, a paved bicycle path, interpretive displays, and educational programs. Pawtuckaway State Park PavilionPawtuckaway State Park - 128 Mountain Road, Nottingham, NH 03290; 603-895-3031 This park boasts a large family beach on the lake with a bathhouse, group picnic area, playground, park store, and a group shelter with a ball field available by reservation only. A large pavilion with a ball field is available for group use. Other activities in the park include biking, boating, camping, hiking, fishing, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing.
Pavilion - Capacity: 400; Base Fee: $500 (covers up to 100 people) every additional 25 people is another $125 
Rye Harbor State Park Pavilion and Group Use AreaRye Harbor State Park - Off Route 1A, Rye NH 03870; 603-436-1552 With scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Isles of Shoals, and Rye Harbor (also called Ragged Neck), this park is a beautiful location for a wedding, corporate event, or family reunion. Groups of up to 125 people can be accommodated. Amenities include fishing, flush toilets, and picnicking. Pavilion - Capacity: 40; Fee: $300.00. Day Use Area - Capacity: 120; Fee: $600.00.

The beach area has clean water and plenty of picnic tables to accommodate the whole event. A pavilion is the best way to keep everyone centralized to one area - good thing there are two here! Wentworth-Coolidge Mansion Group Use AreaWentworth-Coolidge Mansion State Historic Site - Off Route 1A, Portsmouth, NH 03801; 603-436-6607
This State Historic Site is a great location for a wedding with it's beautiful, sweeping view of Little Harbor and huge grassy lawn area overlooking Portmouth.The Mansion is the former home of New Hampshire's first royal governor, Benning Wentworth, who served in office from 1741 to 1767. The rambling 40-room mansion which overlooks Little Harbor, is one of the most outstanding homes remaining of the colonial era. Amenities include boating, fishing, flush toilets and picnicking. White Lake State Park PavilionWhite Lake State Park - Route 16, Tamworth, NH 03886; 603-323-7350 Soft sand and a pavilion create a great landscape for any event. Boat rentals and a packed store create a fantastic day experience, while the campground provides a great way to spend a weekend.
