The Division of Parks and Recreation provides technical assistance to city, town, school, and organized recreation groups on a limited basis.

The assistance includes site planning and review, development, management and maintenance, facility layout and accessibility considerations.

The Division also administers the Land and Water Conservation Fund, a federal grant-in-aid program.
